So I’m sure I am far from the only one to make a post about this, but I will do it anyways, for those who don’t follow the others making a comment about it.
In a nutshell, in the aftermath of Tumblr’s blind-firing to nuke child porn off their servers, they have, by mistake or by design, disabled all nsfw tags and nsfw blogs from showing up in the search results.
This means that if your blog is marked as nsfw, or you make posts with any nsfw tags, then the only ways for people to find them are either through external links, or by those people following someone who reblogs them.
In other words, all of the nsfw blogs are now isolated islands.
I’m hoping that this is a temporary measure. Given Tumblr’s history of treating porn artists as second-class citizens, though, I’m not optimistic.
Just want to make sure everyone is aware.
